Annual health assessment for people with intellectual disability

Disability and NDIS, Family, carer and sibling support
People with intellectual disability can ask their usual GP for a Medicare-supported annual health assessment. The longer appointment reviews physical, psychological and social health, can identify unmet needs, and may lead to a written plan, referrals and follow-up care.
